Miley Cyrus has reportedly turned to shopping to help deal with her relationship woes.
The American singer has been having problems with her fiancé Liam Hemsworth and they are now thought to be undergoing relationship counselling.
Although Miley insists they are still together, it's been claimed the pair have put their wedding plans on hold. Liam's family are also said to be concerned about the relationship and are unsure whether Miley is right for the actor.
Miley, 20, has been focusing on her upcoming album recently. She is also said to be using shopping as a distraction and has splashed out $150,000 on a Porsche.
"Miley can't seem to stop spending. She is really sad and it's the only thing that seems to cheer her up," an insider told National Enquirer.
As well as the car, the young star has lavished $60,000 on furniture for her home and $100,000 on jewellery and accessories.
"She's really sad and it's the only thing that seems to cheer her up," the source explained.
"All she wants to do is work on her new album and shop."
Since they got engaged last year Miley has undergone a drastic transformation. She cut her hair into a shaved style and bleached it blonde. She has also started wearing grunge-inspired clothes and lost weight, all of which is rumoured to have left Liam wondering about their future.
"Miley and Liam fight constantly because he's always questioning if she's the same girl he fell in love with,' a source previously explained. 'He doesn't understand all of her new changes in life.'
